Melbourne Conservatoire accepts international students who are 18 years of age to audition for places in the CUA60113 Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) course*. Students study a two year course and also participate in the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet’s end of year production, produced by Christine Walsh and Ricardo Ella at the Melbourne Arts Centre alongside international guest artists and orchestra.
Training 6 days a week under the guidance of internationally-acclaimed teachers, students will study subjects including Classical Ballet, Repertoire, Pas de Deux, Contemporary, Character Dance, Fitness and Dance Theory.
Students accepted into the two year program are provided with Homestay information, access to English lessons and Japanese student support, while studying in one of the most liveable cities in the world.
Former Japanese graduates have been placed in both Japanese and international dance companies.
Auditions for 2020 will be held in Tokyo at Studio Architanz and Kobe at Studio box 169 in September 2019.
